Bringing Neighbors Together

Glenbrooke Pickleballers take on Team Heritage

We were tempted at the court entrance with more coffee,  donuts, fruit and juice.   They had umbrellas up to manage the sun for the spectators and seating  areas on three benches  or an area for the folding chairs we brought.

Following the play - what's that you said?    Scores?    We we held our own but they were the over all champs today - if scores mattered   :)      Anyway,  back to after the play.

We went to their clubhouse restaurant and ordered our lunch  from their restaurant.      The final touch was for Heritage players to arrange to sit  with each group of 3-4 Glenbrooke players.      We were able to get a tour of their clubhouse, indoor pool,  bar, etc. and talk to  he the residents about their facilities and operation.  Very informative.

The weather was perfect and we all enjoyed the another great  Glenbrooke experience.  104_0221

  1. OK, maybe we did a little less than hold our own - but it was a great learning experience and inspiration to visit the official pickleball website for some training tips - I started at:

and quickly found some useful tips.

And their common area facilities were very impressive - I heard a lot of comments about their water volleyball games that get popular as temperatures rise....
