  1. I just recently read through the revisions to the Design Guidelines and compared the revisions to the existing version. I am concerned. It appears that portions have been re-written to expand the authority & role of DRC and to diminish the rights of individual residents. On page 6, the DRC have given themselves the right to make aestetic decsions without guidelines. Also equally alarming is section 3.04, they are now claimimg the right to inspect & approve all later improvements --- this is the direct opposite of the existting/old section II.B.3.h which allows residents to change their landscaping without approval after the initial improvements are installed. I think we need to have a meeting with the Communication Committee soon. I don't think the changes are mere updates and re-formatting as they have presented them.
