Missing Cat?

sorry submitted by Ron M
Sad to report that I came across a cat that did not survive nighttime traffic on Whitelock.  The cat is an orange over white , medium-haired tabby, with no collar.  It was in the #2 westbound lane of Whitelock, about 75 yards east of the Bruceville x Whitelock intersection--  directly opposite Glenbrooke village #1.
I removed the cat from the traffic lane to the grassy curbside on the north edge of the roadway, should anyone know of the owner or receive a report of it missing.  I'll notify animal control on Monday.
