Bringing Neighbors Together

Join the Hole-in-the- Wall Gang at Mike’s

The Hole-in-the Wall Group invites every Glenbrooke resident to join us for our next dining experiences.    We will be going to  The Original Mike's Diner on SATURDAY, March 30, 2013 at 5:00PM.   The Original Mike's is located 9139 E Stockton Blvd # 3 Elk Grove.    If you would like to carpool,  meet at the Arbour Lodge parking lot at 4:30PM.   Everyone will be able to order off the extensive menu - including a senior menu (see link below) and separate checks will be issued.     Please RSVP Darcie Gore at 647-6594 or email  That will enable us to let the restaurant know how many to expect so they have enough servers on duty.

The Original Mike's Diner first opened it's doors in November of 1997, and is owned and operated by the Raasch family. Our goal is to offer delicious affordable food, in a family friendly environment. Our 1950's style diner features juke boxes at all the booths playing your favorite hits from the 50's, 60's and 70's. We feature a classic car show on Tuesday nights in the spring and summer in the parking lot. We also have a private back room available for meetings, birthday parties and special events. Our menu ranges from crispy chicken strips, juicy burgers, to tasty char-grilled steaks. We also offer home style family favorites like our special recipe meatloaf, pot roast, and chicken fried steak with creamy sausage country gravy. Our breakfasts are out of this world and our kids menu has a wide variety of options. If you are looking for a unique dining experience in a fun upbeat environment Mike's is the place for you. Stop by for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or maybe one of our creamy thick milkshakes or gooey sundaes.

Let our family serve your family!
We hope to see you at Mikes real soon!!!

  1. 20 people signed up so far... looks like a fun evening.

  2. Thanks to everyone who made an effort to invite a new neighbor. We have 30 signed up room for lots more!

  3. Don't forget to bring quarters for the juke boxes located on every table. Fifty cents buys two memory filled songs.

We have 40 people signed up so we should be able to make Mik's Rock! I just called MIKe's and they are all set for 40 to 45 people so if you didn't sign-up, but want to come or bring a guest, we would love to see you.
