Bringing Neighbors Together

The Gourmet on ‘K’ Street Culinary Walking Tour

I found this event on Goldstar - one of my favorite places for discount tickets in the Sacramento area and cities where we travel -ed.

Take a guided tour down Sacramento's original main street to explore both the beautiful architecture and history of the street's past as well as the gourmet revitalization that's happening in the street's present. In between stops at the street's historical landmarks, famed architecture and Sacramento's largest cathedral, the tour will also make up to six food stops along the way to sample the vibrant culinary scene that's popping up on the street. Sacramento has recently been named the "Farm to Fork Capital of the Nation" by Mayor Kevin Johnson. With that title, K Street is seeing an urban revitalization, filling up with fine dining restaurants and neighborhood bars that showcase locally produced ingredients on their menu. In between stories of the street's past, you'll also learn about the foo d scene from a trained culinary concierge and meet the talented and passionate local chefs that have been instrumental in revitalizing the culinary landscape all along "The Kay."  To book your tour go to GODLSTAR
