Bringing Neighbors Together

Driving Miss DaisyToday

The Theater Go'ers are going to enjoy the Chautauqua Playhouse presentation of  Driving Miss Daisy today, February 17, 2013.   For those  who purchased tickets, meet at the Arbour Lodge between 12:45 and 1:00PM to pick up your tickets and directions.

Winner of the 1988 Pulitzer Prize, Driving Miss Daisy tells the post-World War II story of a rich, sharp-tongued Jewish widow who meets her new black chauffeur. Over a series of absorbing scenes spanning 25 years, the two grow to have one of theatre's most unlikely friendships. This classic is filled with wit and wisdom, and explores the importance of tolerance and love. Produced in association with Celebration Arts and featuring James Wheatley as “Hoke” , Janice Reade-Hoberg as “Miss Daisy” and Chris Lamb as “Boolie”.
