Bringing Neighbors Together

Garden Group

Do you enjoy gardening?    Isn't nice to be able to compare notes about successes and failures in this kind of soil and climate?     Why not join the newly formed Glenbrooke Garden Club and meet others with green thumbs.   Don't worry for those of us with brown thumbs,  the group is supportive and open to exchanging ideas.

The group meets the  2nd Thursday of the month.   Each 2nd Thursday, the group meets at the Arbour Lodge at 3:00 PM in the Lodge.      November 8, 2012, Terri will share her tips for a healthy garden the natural way!

There is always something new to discuss.    For example,  last month, John Carson, the owner of Innovative Landscape Consulting, talked about winter maintenance of Crape Myrtles and other deciduous trees and shrubs.     Then his landscape lighting expert talked about the latest technology and gave an outdoor demonstration of what they are able to do using LED lights, interchangeable color filters, zoning and dimming.

Every Glenbrooke Resident is welcome to attend.
