Glenbrooke’s Alaska Cruise
Join your friends and neighbors on an Alaska Cruise on August 31, 2012. We are making the arrangements through Zoe’s Cruises*. If we get enough people to go, the bus will pick us up at the Arbour Lodge, load our luggage, and drive right into the terminal in San Francisco and the luggage will be delivered right to your cabin. If you have already booked, be sure to read the note below!
Even if you THINK you might like to go, be sure and book it. Zoe’s cruise specialist will ensure you receive the lowest possible fare and Zoe's does not have service or cancellation fees. Why is it so important to book right away when the cruise isn’t until August?
1) The price has already gone up since we starting planning this trip and Zoe said it is likely to go up again.
2) She already has over 300 people booked for this special escorted cruise and you may not get the cabin location you desire.
3) We will have a great time!!!! You will be sorry if you miss it.
4) We need you to make the trip complete and the bus to pick us up and drop us off here.
NOTE: If you have already booked, you must call and let them know you are with “THE GLENBROOKE GROUP.” I know people that are booked but Zoe was not showing them as part of the group.
Remember, your family and friends are encouraged to come. The more the merrier!!!

Attention Cruisers:
We have 23 people sign up with the group but I know there are a couple of others out there that are going but not on the list.
If you are going or want more information, Please email me darciegore@gmail.com or call 6476594 so we can form a master list, schedule a get together soon to talk about excursions, ship activities just for us, etc.
This is getting exciting........
Sounds like fun. If the time and weather permits be sure to take the helicopter trip to Mendenhall Glacier and for the brave ones, maybe even some rappelling down the ice cliffs. Boots, etc. are provided and if you think you might get too cold, they have a tent you can go to while on the glacier. There's nothing like walking on a glacier, looking down the crevices to the blue below and a little $$ can maybe get the pilot to take you for a longer ride over the water & mountains on the way back.
Come join us Norma. It doesn't matter if you been there before, this will be a whole new experience!
We now have 29.
29 Glenbrookers....that's just waaaay too scary.
August? At my age "I don't even buy green bananas."
We would be interested to go on an Alaska cruise next year if the itinerary includes Sitka. I have been to the ports on the 8/31/2012 trip. Don has never been to Alaska so any itin. Is fine with him. Please let me know if you hear of such a cruise.
Thanks, Ulla
Hey we've been on numerous Alaska cruises and we find everyone is GREAT. These are the ports San Francisco, California | Ketchikan, Alaska | Juneau, Alaska | Skagway, Alaska | Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska (Scenic Cruising) | Victoria, British Columbia | San Francisco, California.
We have been to Sitka a couple of times and the last time we didn't even get off (having too much fun on ship - Sitka is very small town).
We really wish you and Don will join us.
It is the cruising and fun with friends you will remember!
For those who do not have a brochure...also, further down the page you will find a list of excursions you can take while in port. Ignore the prices quoted...Zoe most likely has a better deal.
