What Do the CC&R’s Say About Turkeys?
Jim is up in Whitmore (Shasta County) taking care of his sister and brother-in-law's property and livestock. In addition to the more exciting bear, elk and deer, there are some wild turkeys that following him around when he is feeding livestock. They are pretty friendly and will come up within 5 feet of him. I told him he couldn't bring them home but I fear he has become attached!

That does sound exciting, weeeeell..... maybe not the bear, but more than that...what a "great" brother to have that's willing to step in and help out when needed, knowing everything is good hands and will be cared for. I think you can have the wild turkey, didn't we have one visit us last year? Have seen them along Big Horn a couple of times.
