Pears, Pears, Pears
The Pear Fair is a celebration of the annual Bartlett Pear Harvest in the picturesque, Sacramento River Delta region of California. Organized and run by a committee of local community volunteers , it has become a long standing summer tradition in the Delta that reflects the character and lifestyle of rural life, family fun and a wonderful day of entertainment, festivities, food and drink shared by all who attend each year.
Always the last Sunday in July, the 39th Annual Pear Fair will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2011 from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M in the Sacramento River Delta town of Courtland, CA. Courtland is located just 20 minutes south of Sacramento, off Hwy 160.

- Wines of the Delta Parade – Pear Blossoms, Crowning of the Queen and Princess and a variety of floats
- Fun Run – 5-10 Mile run and a Children’s � mile
- Children’s Area - Plenty of activities Arts &Crafts
- Booths Classic Car Show Delta Historical Society Display (and other special interest groups)
- A variety of fair food including: pear pies, pear fruit freezes, pear smoothies pears, pears, pears…
- Coors Beer Garden and Wines of the Delta.
- Free Admission - $10 parking fee -A portion of the proceeds benefit educational scholarships & the Courtland Volunteer Fire Association. Ample parking area is provided.
- Please adhere to all parking regulations; any vehicle parked on Hwy 160 is subject to being towed at owner’s expense.
