Bringing Neighbors Together

Saturday: Glenbrooke Exhibition Games

What is the fastest growing recreational sport for seniors?   PICKLEBALL!

If that statement has your head shaking in wonder,  plan on attending the  Glenbrooke exhibition Games, on the tennis courts.    The event will be held this Saturday,  May 7, 2011 between 10:30 and noon to to observe the play.   While there are two benches located  within the courts,  you might want to bring a lawn chair -especially if you plan to watch for a while.

Pickleball group members, yes it's even a GCA recognized group,  will be available to answer your questions as well as show off their skills.

There are both male and female players but the female players would like more ladies to come out and join the fun.   If you want to get in some exercise, without thinking of it as a boring routine,  this just might be the ticket.

For more information about the Pickleball group,  contact Jim Wooldridge or better yet, stop by on Saturday.
