Bringing Neighbors Together

Mark your calendar – you don’t want to miss these

Save April 13th and May 11th for the next two Tell Me A Story (TELMAS) events- especially if you love newspapers, photographs and the ‘Antique Roadshow’.     Both events are sure to present unexpected treasures.

In April, the storyteller will be Randall Benton, a staff photographer for the Sacramento Bee.   Mr. Benton has traveled much of the world as an artist finding photo opportunities in nature.   He will show some examples of his work and discuss how he gets his pictures ready for publishing.   This presentation is scheduled for April 13, 2011 at 6:00PM in the Arbor Lodge.

Gary Cox

On May 11, TELMAS will present Mr. Gary Cox, appraiser.

Gary Cox is well known throughout the Greater Sacramento Area as “The Antique Answer Man”, offering both written and verbal appraisals.  Mr. Cox is a regular on Public Television, renowned speaker to glass collectors, civil war buffs, antique societies and those just learning, interested in how to tell a fake from the real thing.

Rumor is we will be able to bring in our special things for a quick appraisal!   Stay tuned for more on this event.
