Marti Gras: Tonight
The Marti Gras Party is tonight, Friday, March 4th 2011 from 6PM to 9PM at the Arbour Lodge. Tickets have been sold out for a while but you may want to check with the office and see if someone has tickets they cannot use.
For those that bought tickets, the Mardi Gras will feature a catered dinner by Mimi's Cafe. Cost was $15.00 per person.
The dinner will be Cajun Chicken Alfredo, Green Salad and "King Cake" (Cajun spiced chicken, roasted pork loin , chicken andouille sausage, red and green peppers in a Cajun Alfredo with penne pasta, diced tomatoes and green onions). If you have special dietary needs, let Erin know by February 18th.
This is Mardi Gras so don't forget to wear beads, masks, or boas.
There will be a DJ playing music and he will take requests ahead of time. If you would like a particular song or songs, please note it on the song request list by February 18th in the Lodge Lobby.
Volunteers are needed to help bake "King Cakes" contact Erin at 714-1010 if you would like to help bake for this special occasion.

I have to laugh....sorry! I don't even attempt to get tickets and if you work you're just left out. Maybe rotating by streets, villages, alphabet, etc. OR rent a larger facility would work.
IMO, it's actually quiet easy to fix, just have to think outside the box! I would have a problem handling 25 people in my home, but with a tent enclosure, heater or fans if needed, I could handle a 100.
Are you sure it's SOLD OUT...doesn't say so on the official web site. What about Comedy Central, has that sold out too?
In the Lodge the flyer has a 'sold out' sign on top of the flyer that is on the tripod as you come in the front door.
