Bringing Neighbors Together

Coming Soon – Meet Your Neighbor Feature

Reader and neighbor, Jay  Allen , suggested a new section on GlenbrookeNews to help in getting to know our neighbors and  building  friendships through common interests.    Jay specifically talked of how knowing a little about someone would break the ice when bumping into  them.

While this has been suggested before, and we have always thought it was a good idea,  it will be more work and take Glenbrooke homeowner support to make it useful.   So, why  is it different now?   Frankly  because Jay volunteered to be the first victim,  um, I mean participant.  Just kidding, Jay, it will be painless and we are very grateful to you.

While looking forward to the first article,  you can help us name this section by taking our poll for the best title.    It would be a nice weekly feature,  but  if we don't have enough volunteers it may only run occasionally.

So, if  you would be willing to help us out (and meet lots of new people)  please email me at darciegore@gmail.com.     I can then either call or send  a "getting to know you" short list of  questions to answer  at your leisure.    Remember,  this will only successful if if people are willing to share a little about themselves!

What should we name the new feature highlighting our neighbors?
