Based on the feedback I have received, Love Your Neighbor was a hit.  I thought you might like to know what the tally was for the guesses.

The cast  did a great job of convincing people they  had a good motive, since the votes were quite evenly distributed.  Of course, our main red herring, Serenity, got the most votes, but everyone else garnered a fair share. The actual tally was:

Buddy -8;   Huey - 8;  Emma Jane - 7;  Mercy - 9; Daisy - 9

Sissy - 5  (not as many votes for murder, but several believed she really did have a beauty salon in her house!)

Serenity - 19 Two people thought Serenity and Emma Jane did it together.

One said I was an accomplice and therefore equally guilty.

One person said no one killed him.  "He wasn't dead.  I saw him move."

I thought the most creative vote came from Dana Morrison.  I didn't have time to read all the comments before we awarded the prizes or I would have shared this with the group   We just quickly looked at the ones that were correct.  But Dana said:  "Buddy killed Justin to hide that Justin knew that he killed Sissy's sister, who poisoned the cat, laying blame on the gardener who had a love affair with Daisy, who cheated Huey."
