TODAY: Hairspray!
Today, January 16 2011, the Glenbrooke theater goers will be enjoying Hairspray. The production will be at the 24th Street Theater in Sacramento. The group will meet at 12:30 at Arbour Lodge to car pool to the 2:00 matinee.
The Broadway production of this musical comedy won eight 2003 Tony awards, including Best Musical. The new York Times said “If life were everything it should be, it would be more like HAIRSPRAY. It’s irresistible.“ Those attending the play are also invited to an after-theater gathering at the home of one of Glenbrooke’s residents.
If you missed sign ups for this play and would like to go to future plays, mark your calendar for the next Theater Goers General Meeting - April 3, 2011 at 3:00 PM at the Arbour Lodge. The will be information about future events as well as the Spring/Summer plays sign- ups.
