Arbour Lodge was Hopping on Friday Night

Around seventy Glenbrooke residents attended the Friday night Sock Hop/Ice Cream Social. Residents were given a cup of vanilla ice cream and each table had M&Ms, Reese Pieces, Cookies, Cherries, Chocolate Sauce, Whip Cream, Oreo’s and Nuts.
Everyone enjoyed their ice cream and then went on the dance floor to enjoy the 50’s and 60’s music. There was line dancing, twisting and Myrtle even led the group to the chicken dance. It was a very enjoyable evening visiting with friends and neighbors.
Staff at the lodge did a fantastic job of decorating the place to look just like the American Bandstand. Erin, Dawn, Sue Bristow and Regina were the Perfect hostesses – we thank our staff for the enjoyable evening.
