Have you always wanted to learn to take better photos? Then check out the Glenbrooke Photography Club. All skill levels are welcome and look what is in store for the group in the next couple of months!
August 6, 2010, first-Saturday meeting. 2:00-4:00 PM. Bob Bacon will lead the meeting. Bob will discuss macro/close-up photography. You'll get hands-on experience by going out and trying some of the discussed techniques. Bob will bring some tripods, and his laptop to look at a few of the pictures after the shoot. Be sure to bring your cameras.
August 17, 2010, third-Tuesday meeting. 6:00-7:45 PM. Don Marler will discus and demonstrate camera variables (shutter speed, aperture, ISO, focus, and depth of field). Photo topic for this meeting is "Light".
August 21, 2010, Saturday, 1:00 PM. Group will meet at Arbour Lodge to discuss the upcoming field trip to Mount Lassen.
August 26 to 27 or 28, 2010. Group field trip to Mount Lassen.
September 4, 2010, first-Saturday meeting. 2:00-4:00 PM. Activities TBD.
September 21, 2010, third-Tuesday meeting. 6:00-7:45 PM. Joan Gusman will discuss composition. Photo topic for this meeting is "Pictures Worth 1000 Words".
