SOLD OUT! Casa Garden Luncheon

Call today if you want to enjoy a wonderful luncheon, hear “Malt Shop Melodies 2” by the Vocals and help our community at the same time.   How?  By attending the Casa Garden Luncheon on Tuesday, August 10th at the 1:15 PM seating.

Located just a block from Highway 99 and steps from Sutterville Road, you'll find a lush garden filled with flowers, ferns and trickling fountains — a quiet spot to relax with neighbors - The Case Garden Restaurant is one of the best-kept secrets in Sacramento.

  1. Wondering how I was helping out our community by going to this lunch, thinking Glenbrooke or Elk Grove, and being the curious person I am, had to do a little research and will pass the information on to people who, like me, are not familiar with Sacto.

The Casa Garden Rest., 2760 Sutterville Rd., is run by volunteers of the Los Ninos Service League. The profits and 100% of gratuities go to support the Sacramento Children's Home. There are wonderful reviews posted and like stated above will sell out quickly. ? How many are reserved.

    • Oh Norma, what would I do without your editing skills? Once again, you caught an error. That's the reason Glenbrookenews is the neighborhood newsletter - everyone pitches in to make it better and better.

For some reason when I moved the post over from the word document to posting I dropped the paragraph about this being a fundrasing arm of the Children's Home Society. That is critical to the story.

I try to link to the web page (if there is one). So in this case, you will see the first Casa Gardens mentioned underlined. That underline means there is a link and you can double click on that to go directly to the website for more information.

Regarding space, MINGLES has reserved 10 seats and I am not sure how many SINGLES has reserved as they had a list of people that attended before and wanted to go again.

Since this was the first time for MINGLES, I didn't want to reserve any more as you must pay for the seat to reserve it.

  2. The time is posted at 1:115 seating, is that 11:15 or 1:15?
    Thanks

    • AARGH, I really need an editor! It doesn't matter how many times I read it, I still read it the way I intended it and don't see the typos. Thanks for catching that!

The correct time for seating is 1:15.

  3. We will remove the post when the seats are reserved.

  4. Two tickets left!
