Ambulance fees proposed by CSD
The Elk Grove Citizen News, online reported that Consumnes Community service District (CSD) is requesting new fees to the District Board to vote on at their August 18thBoard Meeting.
The taxes paid to CSD (which houses the Fire Department in Elk Grove) apparently do not cover the cost of ambulance calls. “The fees were last updated in 2008 and equipment costs have since increased and are still rising, up to 600 percent in cases, CSD Fire Battalion Chief Peter Sakaris told the board.”Read the full story HERE.
