The reason I mentioned the volunteers at the EGPD was because last night I spoke with two ladies that went to a FREE spagetti dinner given for them and was touched by how excited they were. Not actually because it was FREE, but because someone in the community appreciated their efforts and rewarded them for it. I'm sure they did. Why would they have not been offered for sale on one of the websites or perhaps given to someone less fortunate in our community. I'm sure there are many in EG that could have also made good use of them, maybe some of the many volunteers that work at the EGPD. Perhaps it was because staff no longer will accomodate us in that area and they didn't know there was another alternative. Actually, kinda sad!
