Where are they?
We are off on a week vacation. Yes, retired people vacation too. So what? you may ask. Well, it normally wouldn't matter to anyone, except for this week we are a little short of stories for the Glenbrookenews (I hate white space at the bottom of the page - and we have more to drop off).
Not being at Glenbrooke puts me at a disadvantage of coming up with new stories. So I decided to share some photos of our trip and let you guess where we are vacationing. No fair guessing for our friends at our house or our neighbors who knew ahead of time!
First clue: There are 300 days of sunshine and a year round temperature that average s 70 degrees.
Second clue: Establishment of this beautiful place was coordinated with the 1915-16 Panama-California Exposition.
Today, we went to see the tropical flora and fauna exhibited to the public, free.
Got it?
The first person (that didn't know ahead of time) to name our location in the comment section below wins a free year subscription to Glenbrookenews!
Did this fill the space to the bottom of the page?

No? Oh darn, someone submit something to me at newsof glenbrooke@gmail.com.

OK....OK, we hear you! Boy, you're sure breaking the bank on that prize.
Lol, Do you want to make the winner one of those cupcakes?
Seriously, I appreciate your "Beat"
Hope I haven't told too many people where you are but we sure would like to be there with you with that nice mild climate that stays pretty much the same all year long (clue clue clue).
OK Darcie, did I send you enough to fill those white spaces? Now I'm just waiting to see if you can find space for them.
And the answer was.....San Diiego
