TELMAS Group Has New Website
Not only was the ever popular Tell ME A Story (TELMAS) group approved as an official Association's Group at the last Board of Directors meeting, but they have created their own website. TELMAS has grown so popular amongst the Glenbrooke residents, it is now regularly scheduled to take place each month on the second Wednesday at 6:00PM at the Arbour Lodge.
In May, Mark Hedlun was the story teller talking of his career as a television journalist. So many remember watching him as the anchor of our local news but had no idea of the adventures he had behind the scenes. It was a fascinating evening.
The speaker for June 9th will be Sue Facciola. Another fascinating story as Sue will talk about prison operations in California and her pioneering of the addition of the women in dangerous hostage rescue teams within those prisons. Sue recently retired from the Department of Corrections and still does consulting work for them.
The group meets at the Arbour Lodge in Del Webb's beautiful Glenbrooke community. All residents are invited and to sit back and enjoy some great stories and refreshments.
