Happenings TONIGHT in Elk Grove
Old Town Elk Grove comes alive this Friday with the inaugural Elk Grove First Friday extravaganza.
Held the first Friday of each month from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. the free event will take place in Old Town on Elk Grove Blvd. between Elk Grove Floran and Waterman Road. There will be musical entertainment, art displays, face painting, shopping, dining, and more.
Food Drive on Saturday; Reminder to leave your non-perishable food items at the mailbox Saturday, May 8th to help families in need in our community. Think most of us forgot last year. I'm always amazed when I check the pantry for excesses just how much I have that I can share. Maybe I need a class on "how to economize at the market". Never been good at that. You know, they always say "never go shopping when you're hungry". Must be my problem....among others!!!! 
Oh well, nobody's perfect. Boring!
