Red Hawk Bus Full
The RedHawk Casino shuttle is now full for the May 21st trip. However, we will start a waiting list as it is not uncommon for people to have to cancel when plans change.
In addition, if there is enough interest, we may schedule this trip on a regular basis. If you are interested, but are unable to attend this time, please let us know by signing the M.I.N.G.L.E.S. "I'M INTERESTED IN REDHAWK SHUTTLES" sheet in the Special Events binder at the Lodge.
Thanks to Erin for the new binder and working with us on a new procedure that will allow residents to RSVP for all events at the clubhouse.
Even if you don't gamble, join us for lunch and sight seeing. There is an entire non- smoking floor at the lower level, You can enjoy non-smoking gaming and dining on your own level of the casino separate from the Red Hawk Casino main gaming floor.
With 3 blackjack tables, 1 three card poker game, over 240 slot machines and the most cutting-edge progressives like Wizard of Oz®, Wheel of Fortune Special Edition® and Millionaire Sevens® you’ll be a part of the action. What a great idea...saves us that drive. We have an interest that's for sure, just have a problem scheduling that far in advance. What are the numbers Darcie...I mean on the bus.
It depends on how many people want to go. They will send either their 12 or 15 passenger vans or the 25 foot mini bus depending on what we need. We have the date reserved for May 21 for tthis time, but we can do more trips on different days.
One resident suggested Monday's would be the best day as it it less crowded.
We are totally open to suggestions
I am interest in the trip also, or any further trips planned to Red Hawk.

At this point we are at the 25 person shuttle.
WOW...we do have a lot of gamblers here! Our son was surprised they were doing this for FREE and not charging $ 5.00 + and giving it back in tokens to use. Seems they usually do that to eliminate people going just for a day outing and lunch, but don't gamble and no-shows. Odds are when you use those tokens you'll not quit and spend a little more. Could be the economy has something to do with it.
They did not say anything about tokens. They may do that on the regularly schedule shuttles that pick up at fixed locations (Nathans is the closest to us). This a special arrangement shuttle.
BTY....what is the date that you have to firm up the numbers for the Casino and schedule the bus?

We have a 25 passenger shuttle
it will leave Arbour Lodge at 9:00 AM
It will leave Red Hawk for the return home at 3:00PM
There is no cost for the shuttle, but driver tips are appreciated.
There is room for several more people, if we get more than the shuttle holds, we will ask about sending a second van.
I am one that doesn't really gamble but I am sure they will make money on me with lunch and what not.
