by Ray Bowerman  -    First,  the topic for the April meeting is "Nature/Wildlife", not "Animals/Wildlife".   Secondly, a reminder  about the Home & Lifestyle Vendor Fair at Arbour Lodge Friday, April 16, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The Photography Group has procured a table to be set up in front of our display board.  Group members are encouraged to bring some of their photographs to show and maybe sell.  So far, I think Bob Bacon, Leo Plumley, and I will have some there.  I hope more of you will join in.  Nothing makes you feel so good as having someone purchase (or at least admire) your photographs!  And I know you all have things to show.
I will be out of town that day, but Bob Bacon (baconazca@surewest.net, 670-7128) is handling things for the Photography Group Vendor Fair participation.  So please contact him for more information.  He will be setting up the table and things at 4:00 PM on the 16th--the event starts at 5:00 PM.  Bob would probably welcome some help from other group members, too.
By the way,  only four of us showed up for the field trip to the zoo April 6: Pat Mason, Betty Ramaley, Jane Bowerman, and myself.  We had a great time, though.  The weather, sun angle, crowds, etc. were great, and we had a lot of fun photographing the animals, flowers, etc.
