Bringing Neighbors Together

Plan Now For The Spring Parking Lot Sale

There is something about the spring sunshine that triggers nesting instinct in us.    Give me a couple of days of mild weather and sun and I start thinking of cupboards and closets that need cleaning.    Okay, okay, cloudy, rainy, stuck- in-the house days , work as well.

The question  is what to do with all the culled  junk, er, I mean  ‘treasures.”   Have you seen the things we think of  as  junk that are now labeled  "vintage?"        I don’t know about you, but since moving to Glenbrooke,  I still need to downsize a  'little'  more.     The answer is the GLENBROOKE COMMUNITY PARKING LOT SALE AT THE ARBOUR LODGE.    This  event is scheduled for Saturday April 17th from 8am to noon.

The cost is $10 per space, which includes a 6 or 8 foot table to display glassware, clothes and bric-a- brac.   Two folding chairs will also be provided.

In addition, the  fee covers newspaper ads, temporary sales permit for the lodge and best of all…removal of items that didn’t sell will be picked up by charity on the following Monday.

You must sign up in the Lodge by April 10th, but space will be assigned first come first serve, so you may want to reserve your space now!
