Saturday Social Meets Tonight at 6:00pm
Neighbors get together for a Saturday Social every week in the Clubhouse - unless there is another event taking place. All neighbors are invited to come to the clubhouse at 6:00 PM for the Social. Help spread the word by inviting one of your neighbors! Residents bring their favorite beverage and are welcome to bring a snack (or their dinner). You can play billiards, visit, bring your knitting or get a group together for cards or Mexican Train. It all depends on who shows up and what they would like to do. You don't have to worry about attendance or missing meetings. If you want to, come; if you are busy and don't want to come no problem - if you have never come or missed months don't worry come on down! All are welcome! Hey, you can even watch that game at the lodge and cheer or boo with your neighbors.

This might be a good time to also remind folks that next Saturday, January 20th - the Gores and Glasers are preparing a bake potato bar for anyone who would like to join us for bake potatoes with butter, sour cream, broccoli, green onions, etc - whatever you want to put on your potato. Norma will be supply the paper plates and utensils - just bring a dessert and whatever you want to drink and come on down for a fun filled evening.
We tried to reserve the big ballroom but since the Board of Directors denied us being an "official group" we are unable to reserve the ballroom. We could pay the forty dollars to rent half of ithe ballroom but they weren't sure someone else had reserved and are making too many hoops to jump through so...... what the heck it not worth the hassle anymore - we'll make due with the game room and still have fun, enjoy our bake potatoes, conversations, games, etc.
See everyone next Saturday and probably tonight if they are coming.
I am meeting with Mina next week to work out reserving the room by the warming kitchen. Either way, we are going to use our clubhouse for the neighborhood Bake Potato Bake and have Fun on Febraury 20th (as well as tonight!)
