4.  The Theatergoers are planning a trip to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland October 7-9th.  We will board a bus and head to Ashland on the morning of the 7th,  see The Merchant of Venice that night at the outdoor Shakespeare theater and then see a romantic comedy, She Loves Me,  the next afternoon at the beautiful Bowmer Theater.  The trip includes bus transportation, theater tickets, a group dinner, a walking tour of Lithia Park, the driver's gratuity, and a pre-trip Shakespearean Soup Supper.  Maximum price will be $225.00 (plus hotel) per participant.  If we fill the bus (40) the price will be $195.00 per person.  Participants will make their own reservations at the Holiday Inn Express where we have a group room rate of $109.00 for two queen beds.  There are brochures at the lodge or you can request one from me.  A deposit of $80.00 per person is due  by April 1.  The balance is due September 1.  Hope you can join us!

  1. Thanks Terri...sounds like this group is having a lot of fun and Peter & Nancy's home is the place to crash! ooooh.............maybe that's not what you said! :-) Think I'll try it anyway. Sounds like March 13th is a good date.

  2. Some additional information from Terri:

Just a clarification about prices for the upcoming plays and the Ashland deposit.

    Hello Dolly is $8.00

A Flea in Her Ear is $10.30 ($9.00 for the ticket plus $1.30 fee to the ticket vendor)

The Ashland trip deposit is $40.00 per person - $80.00 per couple.

I now have a hidden, locking mailbox on my porch which should make it easier for you to drop off checks. Please don't put cash in the box, just in case it isn't as secure as it looks. The box is not visible from the street but once you are on the porch you should be able to spot it.
    Terri
