Interested in learning mah-jong?
Would you like to play , or learn to play, mah-jong? If so, there will be an introductory meeting on Thursday January 7th at 1:00 PM in the Arbour Lodge. This meeting will be used to introduce mah-jong and determine interest for a weekly game.
There are many different versions of the game, but the Basic concept is very similar to gin rummy. Instead of grouping cards together, you are grouping tiles together in either suits or sequences. You draw a number of tiles at the beginning of the game and continue to draw and discard until someone goes out with mah-jong.
