Great time at the Cookie/White Elephant Exchange
A nice evening was had by about 30 Glenbrooke neighbors at the annual Cookie Exchange and White Elephant gift exchange. We were able to sample some cookies and still take home a variety of 18 cookies - always needed this time of year. The assortment was mind boggling with lemon squares, gingerbread men, brownies, chocolate, thumb print, speciality cookies and of course every one's favorite, sugar cookie - with endless variation of the decorations.
Pictured above is Gary O getting his prized sewing book. There were many beautiful candles, a popular serving platter and vase (I even briefly had my hands on them before they were 'stolen'). The gift exchange made for new treasures and laughter.
What a nice way to get in the Holiday Spirit and catch up with friends and neighbors.

Speaking of cookies...would the maker of the cookies which had a cookie botton, marshmallow center, and peanut topping be willing to share the recipe? I have never had those cookie bars before and they were really good. Since I only got to take one, I would like to make some more. Thanks.
Thanks also to all who participated in the cookie/gift exchange. It was a fun evening.
