Thumbs up for improvement in Annual Financial Documents
If you are a Glenbrooke resident, by now you should have received a hefty financial disclosure packet from Riverside Management.
After just a quick scan of the 2010 budget and other financials, I have to say that I was impressed. Perhaps I'm swayed by the fact that our assessments remain the same. Still, the details presented provide a far better basis for understanding where our funds are going, especially with regard to the reserve account.
Who knew that our fitness equipment was so expensive, or that resurfacing a tennis court would be so costly. It's reassuring to know that we are setting aside sufficient funds to maintain our facilities, and building a budget based upon retail pricing and not the best deal one could get on the internet.

While I do not agree with every line item - no one will since wel have different priorties - the presentation of the information is much improved. Now we can now see where our money is going!
