Bringing Neighbors Together

Helicopter Announcements

imagesGlenbrooke's Neighborhood watch Coordinator,  Mary Weatherill,  shares some updates with us.

Officer Tim recently answered a question about an announcement that a helicopter was making while flying overhead.  In the past I have been unable to hear what is being announced also.  Sometimes it's to stay in doors, doors locked and sometimes it's about an at risk person who needs to be located.

There is a Elk Grove Police Department East Side Beat Meeting on  12/08/09 at 6:00pm, at Pleasant Valley High School.  While East  Beat is for residents that live east of Hiway 99 all are welcome and the information is very useful.

Glenbrooke residents are encouraged to attend the Glenbrooke Neighborhood Watch meeting on Sunday November 22nd at l:00 pm at the Lodge for everyone.  I hope to see you there.  I plan on having these community wide meetings  every 3 months.

  1. Not that I'm recommending it, but found a security device that was interesting to read about. Thought maybe some might like to see also. Go to http://www.faketv.com

Something else I heard about last night was after recurring home burglaries in past two weeks, neighbors reported seeing men wearing orange & neon green vests w/white hard hats in the neighborhoods. This was in the Laguna/Franklin area. They have posted flyers to alert neighbors. Also spotted on Bruceville/Whitelock. Criminal activity by men wearing vests...who knows for sure. Just stay alert!
