Most people have heard he first time Home buyer tax credit of $8,000 has been extended.     But did you know there is now a  tax credit up to $6,500 for repeat buyers?  

A repeat buyer  is someone who has  lived in one residence for five consecutive years of the past eight years.    The new purchase must be a principal residence not an investment.  In addition,  the new home  does not have to cost more than the old home but buyers must be under contract by May, 2010 and close by July 1, 2010.
