Who is resigning from the Board of Directors?

board meeting

The Glenbrooke Community Association agenda for the Board of Director's (BOD) Meeting is now posted.    The meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 21st,  at 2:00PM in the Arbour Lodge.  It looks like normal business with the exception of a couple of items.

The President’s Report include a Resolution about a resignation and appointment of director & officer.  Is that a Pulte employee or one of our two resident Directors?

The other  issues are with Resolutions presented at the last BOD meeting.    Resolution 2009.010, Design Guideline Revision, has been posted for the required 30 days and is expected to be approved.

There is still some uncertainty on how Resolution 2009.009 Rules & Regulations Change will be handled.   This was the Resolution that proposed guest fees.   Midway through the long quarter since the last BOD meeting, an email was sent informing rs stating the fees would be dropped from the Resolution.    The question remains, will they drop the entire Resolution and start over, or will they adopt all other provisions - such as limited the number of days a visitor ccan use the facitlities annually to 18 days?.   If the Resolution is amended, it will have to be posted for another 30-day review period.

Under "New Business” is the adoption of the 2010 budget.  How was this budget developed?   Did staff do it all?   Board members?   Was there input from residents?  A Finance committee?  Did they budget for extended summer hours next year?

The next BOD meeting is not scheduled until January 13, 2010.  With the growth of this development it seems monthly meetings would better serve members.   Plan on attending this meeting to get  answers to questions above - and any others you may have for our Board of Directors.

  1. My guess would be one of our resident Directors since it appears in a Resolution form.

  2. I didn't see a Resolution for the last Director that resigned from Pulte and was replaced by Mike ?....maybe a slip up and that's what it is.
