Bringing Neighbors Together

How is GlenbrookeNews.com doing?

graphMonday I was asked if we knew how many people read GlenbrookeNews.com.  The answer is yes we do!  We also can tell which stories are the most popular.

We are a little late on this report, but we will  report the statistics of monthly readership for those that are curious.

As of  Monday, October 5, 2009  we have had a total of 4,321 page views.

So far, the busiest day was Sept. 29, when we had 209 "unique visitors" to a site.  A unique visitor is defined by the address of the computer.  So if you visted the site and then your spouse visited the site it would only count as one visitor that day.   Considering we have just over three hundred  residents (and not all residents use the computer) we are very happy that GlenbrookeNews seems to be well received.

The slowest day was September 24 with 51 unique visitors. As  administrators, our computers are not counted at all.

We would love residents to be more interactive and comment on stories and forums.

Which stories were most popular?

  1. I for one think you're doing a GREAT job. It also has to take a lot of dedication and hard work on your part to keep this site up and going! Would like to see more imput from residents as I know there's a lot of good info out there that we would all enjoy hearing about. Example: how do you keep that black stove top shining, easy cleaning of shower door, streak free window cleaning, keep cupboards stocked for fast - no notice visitor, recipes and I'm sure there are many other suggestions you'all have. Even a funny story - on yourself is ok too. 10:15 AM and I'm on the computer with the breakfast dishes waiting for me. Hopefully Jack made the bed!!
