EEK! There are only 92 days until the New Year!
Let’s get a jump on those New Year Resolutions to eat healthier.
We are going to be starting a FREE group for Glenbrooke residents to support efforts to make a change in eating habits and/or lose weight. There are no embarrassing weigh –ins and no prescribed diets. Most of us know what we need to do – it’s just getting that little extra support and motivation to do it! It doesn't matter if you are working on losing 5 pounds, 100 pounds or just want to work on a healthier lifesyle. This group will be supportive not judgemental.
We will meet weekly on Monday’s at 10:00 AM (Starting OCT 5th) in the activity room at the Arbour Lodge. We promised to have fun, laugh and support each other in our efforts to achieve our individual goals.
We will be begin by using Linda’s Spangle’s 100 days of Weight Loss. See her introduction and links to resources here. Most people quit a diet or eating plan within the first couple of weeks. But we can do anything for a 100 days, and in that time, meaningful progress can be made. Just think, it will get us through the Holidays!
We moved to Glenbrooke to enjoy the Lifestyle and meet new people, this group will help us keep healthy to enjoy the many activities offered at Glenbrooke and make new friends. Hope to see you Monday.

That picture looks familiar...think I have a few of those! 92 Days? Will see if I can get motivated! Can I come in my jammies...is the sun up at 10 AM? How about 10 PM?
What about the people who are still working. Maybe a time in the evening when they can come too.
Good thought, Kathy. I wasn't sure if we would have any interest and it was short notice to start. What day would work for you? Is there anyone else that would join us but need an evening time?
We are trying to find a time that will work for more people. Stay tuned for announcement.
