Meet Linda Spangle

Today, I am humbled to add a nationally recognized expert, best selling author and an extremely caring, supportive person to our Health and Fitness section.

  2. Hi Sandy,

    I spoke with Erin yesterday and we are going to try and start a '100 days of weight loss" group. The time will be Monday's at 10:00. I hope many will decide to join us. So to answer some questions:

    1) This is not an eating plan (ie, low fat, low carb, ww, zone,, fast , etc). Most people know what works for them. Rather this is an attack on emotional eating.

    2) There is no fees or dues, but it would be helpful to have the book 100 Days of weight loss or be able to access it online.

    3) The 100 days is designed to work on healthy eating HABITS. Behavior takes awhile to become HABIT.

    4) This is a perfect time to start a group like this with the Holidays coming up (and for most that means weight GAIN)..

    5) No public weigh-ins (although there is a scale in locker rooms)

    6) The work done with the book will be done in the privacy of your own homes

    7) TI see this as a group of people (men and women) want to actively work on healthier eating habits and support each other - whether they have 5 pounds to lose or more than 100 pounds.
